What if there were no gender roles?
Would the world be out of control?
If we didn’t distinguish female from male,
would our “beloved” system fail?
There are no gender roles.
We finally achieved our goals.

We finally escaped that outdated jail
Everyone seems to have their strict place in society
That’s why some of us suffer from anxiety.
We are supposed to act a certain way.
Otherwise we are considered as gay.
Our society went under a drastic change,
Hierarchies have been rearranged.
Black and white, pink and blue,
People should have never been identified by a hue.
Men can’t wear a skirt
Rather some jeans with a shirt.
Women are supposed to shave,
Otherwise they look like they “live in a cave”.
Society couldn’t keep us quiet,
So we bound together and started a riot.
Bi-gender, transgender, two-spirit, women, and men,
We fought for our rights and we will do it again.
If we lived by our own rules,
We wouldn’t be such fools.
By the time we forget about gender roles,
Is the time we can achieve our goals,
We now live by our own rules,
That’s what you should teach children in schools.
